About ‘Beautiful hair moss in close-up’ by Gerard de Zwaan

This photo is of a beautiful hairmoss. I chose to have one flower in sharp focus and the rest out of focus/fuzzy, I thought this photo would look better as a macro photo. It may be a strangely shaped flower, it actually looks more like a flower bud. I took the picture on a sand drift on the Veluwe where this moss species occurs. The…

Welcome to my shop. My name is Gerard de Zwaan and I was born in 1983 in the Veluwe town of Harderwijk where I grew up and still live. I started photography in 2013. My first camera was a Nikon D3200 which I still own and is now as a spare camera, currently I use a Nikon D7200.
