About ‘Beautiful in black’ by Anita Reynders

The model stood there and looked at me with a penetrating gaze. It fascinated me. I wondered what was going on inside her, what she was thinking about. That's how I wanted to capture her. Pure!

Her beautiful curls fall around her gorgeous face. She holds her hand gracefully by her chin. No prompting was necessary; she stood like that herself and looked ahead with a determined gaze.

A gaze focused on the future, which is still almost entirely in front of her. So many opportunities still lay ahead for her. Life is smiling on her.

The model has been lit from above with a single lamp, so that the black of her clothes runs beautifully away at the bottom of the photo. It's an elegant look, yet one that has something tough about it as well. The color black emphasizes the simplicity and toughness in this portrait, but does not detract from her vulnerability.

Wonderful to be so young and still be able to discover the world.

Hi, I'm Anita and can totally lose myself in photography. The first years I was searching and I was mainly busy with macro photography. Later I noticed that photographing people provided a totally different dynamic and I started to focus more on that.

The connection with the person in front of the camera, which allows you to create beautiful images together. My heart lies with fine art portraits. I love the stillness and the peace that such a portrait radiates.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
