About "Beekeeping, the hard work behind the drops of honey"

About the artwork

The illustration shows a close-up of a bee sitting on a honeycomb. The bee takes a break from her busy work and rests for a while on the hexagonal cells of the honeycomb. Her black, hairy body stands out clearly against the golden yellow honeycomb. The bee almost seems to stand still in time, her wings slightly folded down and her head resting on the edge of one of the cells. Her eyes seem a little dull, as if she is daydreaming for a moment. Her legs are subtly bent and almost seem to rest on the honeycomb, as if she is holding on tightly to her temporary shelter. The honeycomb itself looks beautiful, with the hexagonal cells fitting together perfectly and forming a regular pattern. You can even see tiny droplets of honey pouring out of some of the cells, as evidence of this bee colony's hard work. The whole thing exudes peace and harmony, as if everything falls into place in the natural order of things.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
