I see a warm palette of colour, with a dash of cool blue, caught in a rotating spiral of acrylic paint that has a mysterious aura to it!
I was inspired by that experience we all sometimes feel. Shall I go? Shall I stay? If I go can I come back easily? If I do go and stay awhile will there always be a way back home? Questions I'm sure we all ask - sometimes subconsciously!
This picture has a womb-like feeling to it. It is both safe and secure but also pushing forward.
Both are feelings that we can all feel whether happy or sad. A lot of my work contains smooth curves and shapes rather than hard sharp lines. A caress not a blow!
I always think that this picture belongs to a sports person, someone who plays with balls and motion. It depicts the joy and speed of the game!
