About ‘Behind the clouds the sun shines’ by Jesse Simonis

Getting a breath of fresh air in the storm on Texel's wide beach, near the lighthouse. Thanks to a hole in the clouds, some sunlight got through, giving this picture an almost religious theme.
The drifting sand blows towards the sea, which cannot be seen through the wide beach.
