About ‘Benschopperstrtaat 25, IJsselstein.’ by Tony Buijse

The house on Benschopperstraat 25 in IJsselstein, is the former city inn, from 1540. It has an Empire facade, a straight cornice, is white plastered and has a front garden. This building is a national monument. Nowadays the building is used as a living / office building.
The photo is made in black and white, which gives it an artistic timeless look. Details are beautifully and correctly emphasized. Due to the lack of color, this can no longer cause distraction. Composition, shapes, lines, fine gray nuances, structures and contrast ensure that the subject is given a much more prominent place in the image.

Tony Buijse is a Dutch photographer, lives in IJsselstein and is best known for his reports that he makes of sports competitions and events.
His landscape photos and cityscapes have been shown at several exhibitions. Much of his photo work is available as wall decoration on Werkaandemuur. Most of these photos were taken during trips and excursions.
