Berlin Television Tower and World Clock

by Mixed media vector arts

The artwork "Berlin TV Tower and World Time Clock" shows two iconic Berlin landmarks in a clear, urban composition: the World Time Clock on Alexanderplatz in the foreground and the TV Tower with its characteristic sphere and antenna tip in the background. The world clock, with its rotating elements and international city names, symbolises global networking and the perception of time. The television tower rises above it as a technical and architectural symbol of the city.

The inspiration for this work arose from the contrast between movement and stability - between the rotating clock and the firmly anchored tower. Both elements symbolise orientation, both geographically and temporally.

I wanted to create an atmosphere that feels urban but not hectic. The picture invites you to think about time, place and perspective - about the interplay of past, present and future in public space.

The message lies in the connection between symbolism and everyday life. It is about orientation in a complex world.

In interior design, this work acts as a cultural anchor point. It brings history, structure and a touch of Berlin identity into modern rooms - ideal for workspaces, corridors or living rooms with an urban character.
