I photographed this ridge on Svalbard from a sailboat. The beautiful colours and shapes, immediately caught my attention. The two mountain peaks on the left and right provided backdrops and a nice view through to the mountains behind. Incredible how the different stone layers and colours of sand make a mosaic against the mountain slopes.
The snowy white peak of the highest mountain forms a nice contrast to the dark brown areas of the other mountains. By the way, a lot of colour nuances are still visible in these dark areas.
