On a long summer evening, you have to wait a long time for the blue hour. I took this photo with a slower shutter speed just after sunset and was taken at Haarrijnseplas. We can see the silhouettes of the Buoys by the swimming beach and the lights of Key West Beachhouse.

I am Martijn Wit and I like to photograph nature in my neighbourhood, but I also love to capture the city and the night. I love the play of light in combination with the vintage lenses I use.
