The Val d'Orcia is slowly awakening from the night. The air is still cool, and a soft mist hangs over the hills like a veil protecting the landscape from the bright light that will soon come. On a small hill lies Podere Belvedere, surrounded by rows of cypress trees that stand like silent sentinels along the path. Their dark silhouettes stand out against the young green of the fields, where the dew still glistens in the first light of day.
The house catches the first rays of the sun - a warm glow that deepens the ochre yellow of the walls and illuminates the Tuscan earth. The lines of the fields gently follow the undulations of the landscape, as if moving with the breath of morning. In the distance, the hills disappear in a haze of mist and silence.
Everything is still in balance: the calm, the light, the smell of damp soil and fresh grass. Only the trembling of the air above the earth betrays that day is slowly approaching. A brief and fragile moment - between night and day, between shadow and sun, between hills and morning silence.
