A hint of light breaks through the dense cloud cover and bathes the reeds on the shore of Lake Hopfensee in a soft golden colour. The stalks sway gently in the wind, as if whispering softly of the coming warmth. But spring is still pausing, hidden behind heavy grey clouds over the Tannheim mountains. The peaks can only be vaguely glimpsed, veiled by the damp air hanging over the lake.
A strange stillness lies over the landscape, a moment between the seasons. The cold of winter can still be felt, but the light reflections of the reeds herald the change. It is as if nature is holding its breath - pausing, waiting for the inevitable awakening of spring.
Lake Hopfensee reflects the dark clouds, its surface almost like a window into another world. And yet a faint promise shimmers in between - a first, tentative sign of light that heralds the approach of spring. Not yet tangible, but already perceptible.
