About "Birch forest in octendmist_04"

About the artwork

A birch forest early in the morning when the sun has not yet displaced the morning mist. In the Netherlands, there are hardly any places left where you can find a Birch forest like you do in Scandinavia and Eastern Europe. The landscape and setting of this work were created in my imagination and made visible with a text-to-image programme. You describe what you want to make with keywords and descriptions of the situation. The programme, which runs on artificial intelligence, consults the internet for impressions and then creates an image. You can enrich or further digitally "paint" this raw image until you are satisfied. With this image, you have a landscape that does not really exist but has been created with imagination and artificial intelligence. While creating this work, I had Eastern Europe and my memories of it in mind. With this work on your wall, you will have something special and unique to enjoy.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
