About the artwork

This picture has been taken in the Nieuwkoopse plassen.

Rietland;
In addition to peeing and the often whimsical waterways, this area has a large area of reed fields, which mainly give the east of the area a remarkable wide open character. The reed cultivation still uses a large area and still offers a lot of work to people in and around Nieuwkoop and North. (Rarely cutters and roofers, and sometimes even fishermen or recreational entrepreneurs). In broad terms, the reed cultivation goes well with the nature function of the area.

The banks of the reed countries are often covered with colorful varieties such as ordinary recipes, cat tail, water acidification, moerasspirea, large water rapids and various kinds of seal. In spring, between the reed, the strong king spells fall.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
