About ‘Black and white from Watchtower Kootwijkerzand’ by Paul van Putten
Het Kootwijkerzand is a drifting sand area on the Veluwe in the Dutch province of Gelderland. It is the largest drifting sand area in Western Europe. From the watchtower you have a beautiful view over the surroundings. The tower has a construction that lends itself to abstract photographs like this one.

I love traveling and photographing. My favorite types of photography are street photography and landscape photography. I usually take colorful photos. But sometimes a photo comes out better in black and white.
My favourite countries to photograph so far are Scotland and New Zealand. They have the agreement that they have beautiful nature and also a lot of opportunities to hike.
