About the artwork
This work was painted on location "en plein air.
A quick ink study at the lake during a vacation. Trees providing shade and shelter during a scorching hot summer day.
To loosen up at the beginning of the day I often paint with two colors. This time black ink and white paint on thick quality paper.
Paper and ink, painting quickly and spontaneously, this is how series of works are created. The original works in black and white with abstract trees are framed and hang in a collection on the art wall.
