Black-headed Gull on a Sandy Beach is a hand-painted acrylic painting in a contemporary square format by the artist Karen Kaspar.
Against an abstract background in various shades of orange, sand and yellow, a small black-headed gull stands and looks curiously at the viewer.
Have you ever tried to have a picnic on a beach? In no time at all you are surrounded by hungry seagulls. The birds move closer and closer and look at the food on offer. Very cheeky animals sometimes manage to snatch snacks from the hands of small children and fly away with them.
More pictures with bird motifs can be found in my album Birds. The album is constantly being expanded. So check it out from time to time.
