About the artwork

Een interessant boarding ritueel van het U.S.N. Blue Angel demonstratie team.

Het toestel is in de jaren zeventig en tachtig ontworpen, op basis van de Northrop YF-17, voor de Amerikaanse marine. Het is nog steeds in dienst bij de Amerikaanse marine, het Amerikaanse Korps Mariniers en bij de luchtmachten van verscheidene andere landen, zoals Spanje en Canada.
Als multirole toestel vervult het de taken van onderscheppingsjager, luchtverdedigingsjager, het uitschakelen van vijandige luchtafweer, verkenner, close air support (luchtsteun) en forward air control (doelaanwijzing). Door zijn veelzijdigheid en betrouwbaarheid is het een waardevol vliegtuig. Het enige nadeel is zijn relatief kleine actieradius.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
