A "blue moon" is a term used to describe a rare phenomenon where two full moons take place within the same calendar month. Normally, one full moon occurs per month, but due to the uneven length of the months in the calendar, two full moons may occur in one month.

However, the term "blue moon" has nothing to do with the colour of the moon. The moon is usually white or silvery in colour, depending on atmospheric conditions and the positions of the sun and moon in the sky. The term "blue moon" is rather an idiomatic expression referring to something rare or unusual, as it is relatively rare to have two full moons in one month.

It happens on average about once every 2.7 years that a blue moon occurs. So the term "blue moon" is mainly a calendar convention and does not affect the actual colour of the moon.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
