About the artwork

A digital drawing of a blue tit hanging almost upside down from a twig. The bird looks at you with one eye. The twig is lightly drawn and has leaves in the shape of feathers and white and pink flowers. The bird is drawn is a smooth style and has a layer of sketchy pencil strokes that give the whole thing a drawing-like impression. The background colour is a soft blue gradient. The whole is a sweet and spring-like picture.

The Blue Tit (Cyanistes caeruleus, synonym: Parus caeruleus) is a tit that is regularly found in almost all of Europe. Blue tits are common in forests, gardens and thickets. They are clever, agile birds that like to descend on food hung in the garden. In Belgium and the Netherlands, the Blue Tit is a numerous breeding bird, which is also mostly a resident bird, but in some years migrates in varying numbers. Adult Blue Tits are about 11 to 12 centimetres tall with a wingspan of 17-20 centimetres and a weight of about 12-15 grams, which is smaller than the Great Tit. The Blue Tit has a distinctive blue 'cap', yellow breast, narrow, black eye stripe, black-blue chin patch and bluish wings. Males are brighter in colour than females and juveniles. Males have a bright blue 'beret', while females display a dull blue 'beret'. Females also have a slightly narrower blue collar.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
