The Blyde River Canyon is a spectacular gorge of no less than thirty kilometres. It's the third largest gap in the world! For centuries, the fast-flowing Blyde River has been navigating an area of clay soil and quartz rock at an altitude of seven hundred metres. Erosion has created an impressive tangle of cliffs, islands and rocky plateaus that make up the Blyde River Canyon.
Landscape photographer and drone pilot Koen Henderickx will gladly take you on a discovery of the most beautiful places, both close by or a little further away.
His mission is to introduce people to the beauty of nature, from water, the land or in the sky via drones.
