Photographer Bert-Jan de wagenaar often chooses a low viewpoint. It shifts the eye and often creates a more dramatic image. Here he wanted to draw attention to the pattern and structure of the cobblestones. The perspective of the row of buildings with the many windows and the fence draws your eye further into the picture. Because of the lack of color all attention goes to the shape, lines and structure. This picture of this small street in Bossche evokes a nostalgic but ordered image in the viewer.
