Branch with colourful oak leaves is a watercolour painting in portrait format hand-painted by the artist Karen Kaspar.
A branch of an oak tree with colourful autumn leaves in shades of yellow, orange, red and green glows against a background of blue and green tones.
The leaves are painted in a rather detailed and textured manner, emphasising the unique shapes, shades and veins of the leaves. The background is abstract. The different shades of green and blue blend seamlessly, creating a dreamy and ethereal atmosphere.
There is also a variation of this watercolour painting in square format and in landscape format in my portfolio.
You can find more pictures of foliage in all colour variations and of various trees such as oak, maple, holly or ginkgo in my album Trees and Leaves.
