Break from Silence – Sculptural Relief III by AidasignArt

A human figure appears to burst forth from a seemingly flawless white surface. The face, the wide-open mouth and the tense posture create a moment of extraordinary expressiveness. At the same time, the boundaries between the body and its surroundings dissolve: traces of the palette knife, folds, lines and raised areas of material merge into a dynamic, sculptural composition.

The consistent reduction to white lends the work an almost sculptural purity. It is only through the interplay of light and shadow that its true complexity is revealed. Recesses become dark, raised areas stand out, and the surface begins to appear almost alive.

This creates a compelling contrast between stillness and movement, beauty and unease, the body and abstract materiality.

The work, from the series ‘ "Sculptural Dimensions – Kunst in 3D" ’, deliberately leaves room for different interpretations. The expression depicted can be understood as a cry, a rebellion, liberation or a moment of intense inner turmoil. It is precisely this openness that makes the work a striking example of contemporary sculptural art.

“Break from Silence” combines the impact of a relief with the presence of a sculpture, almost making one forget the two-dimensional picture plane.
