About the artwork

Experience the calming beauty of the Zeeland coastline with this minimalist image that captures the allure of the sea and nature with a timeless visualisation.
The image shows a row of groynes taken with a long exposure of 3 minutes. The camera was positioned in the centre between the two rows of wooden piles to achieve perfect symmetry. The lateral light brings out the bright green algae particularly well.

The long exposure time, made possible by the use of a strong grey filter, gives the sea a velvety smooth, almost unreal texture. The sky, on the other hand, remains finely sketched.
The colour palette is harmonious: fresh green tones of the algae contrast subtly with the delicate blue and grey tones of the sky and water.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
