About ‘Bubble Nebula – Cosmic Fireball (NGC 7635 in Deep Red)’ by Christiaan Berger

The Bubble Nebula (NGC 7635) is a spectacular emission nebula in the constellation Cassiopeia. The characteristic 'bubble' was created by the intense stellar wind of a hot, massive star that blows gas into space with enormous force. What we see here is a cosmic collision: outflowing stellar wind material compressing the surrounding interstellar gas into a glowing, almost perfect bubble.

This image is captured in deep red tones, dominated by the light of ionised hydrogen (H-alpha). This powerfully highlights the dramatic structure of the nebula: fine filaments, dense dust clouds and subtle shock fronts stand out against a rich star field.

The photo was taken entirely by myself with my own telescope and camera, built up from several hours of exposure time. Every detail has been carefully captured and edited to show both the scientific beauty and artistic power of this object. An intense and mysterious work of art that adds warmth, depth and cosmic energy to any space — a fiery reminder of the dynamism of the universe.

My specialisation lies mainly in narrowband photography, using specific filters such as H-alpha, OIII and SII to accurately capture structures and emission regions. I also take RGB images for a true-to-life colour…

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
