We spent four days on an unforgettable safari in Kenya. Three days in the Tsavo East and West National Parks and later in the Taita Hills. The parks were extremely different, while Tsavo East is known for its red earth, red elephants and steppe in a flat landscape, Tsavo West also has mountains with heavy vegetation, predatory cats and rhinos. In the Taita Hills you find a savannah-like landscape with mountains in the background, my favourite for wildlife photos as well. At the equator it is difficult to photograph, especially if you try to take close-ups of wildlife like I do. The light conditions change quickly and are also extremely different. Animals and vehicles move. So you have to be fast and work with the exposure times. In the end, I succeeded well in capturing exactly this unique atmosphere of wild animals.
