About "Building Chamber of Commerce, Lüneburg"

About the artwork

I think the street Am Sande in Lüneburg is a beautiful street, which does justice to the architecture of Lüneburg. In this photo you can see the Lüneburg Chamber of Commerce, in a beautiful and stately old building.

Lüneburg is a 1050 year old city, located between Hamburg and Hanover. The city is one of the most fascinating cities in northern Germany. The historic architecture -in the style of the brick Gothic- stands in exciting contrast to the frivolous, young city life. During World War II, Lüneburg was spared from bombing by the Allies, so the city exhibits a contiguous medieval cityscape: one of the reasons Lüneburg was once again awarded the title of Hanseatic City in October 2007.

Everywhere in the city center you will encounter the history of the city, whose most important commodity was salt. For more than a thousand years, salt was mined here in the saltworks. Thanks to the trade in the then precious "white gold", the city was rich and respected in the Middle Ages.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
