About the artwork

This building photographed during a city break in Porto, Portugal immediately stood out for its vibrant red tiles combined with the charm of its small balconies. Each balcony has z'n its own terrace. Z'n own story.

As you stroll through the streets of Porto, you soon discover that tiles are an iconic element in the Portuguese landscape.
Porto, in particular, is known for its abundance of beautifully tiled buildings, giving the city a unique and enchanting atmosphere.

Tiles, also known as 'azulejos' are an important part of Portuguese culture and architecture. It shows the pride of the Portuguese for their heritage and the art of tiling. It is a reminder of the craftsmanship and creativity passed down through the generations.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
