We drove around Bonaire in a very charming but wrecked Jeep Wrangler. Near Rincon, you can see ancient Indian inscriptions, Makra Indian Inscriptions. We wanted to go and admire those, so we bounced through the desert landscape on hard suspension. At these beautiful cacti, we came to a sizzling halt with a boiling engine. When you tell people you had car trouble in the "middle of nowhere", your listeners hang on your every word! The car had experienced this before, as there were two large bottles of water in the boot. We quenched the Jeep's thirst and were able to continue the trip across this beautiful island. After I had extensively captured the cacti, of course!
