Cadini di Misurina mountain group landscape view in the Dolomites during springtime.
The Cadini di Misurina are a striking group of jagged peaks in the Dolomites, located near the famous Tre Cime di Lavaredo in northern Italy. Part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site, this mountain group is admired for its dramatic spires and intricate maze-like ridges that give it a distinctive, almost labyrinthine appearance—its name “Cadini” comes from the local dialect meaning “hollows” or “gullies.” Rising to around 2,800 meters, the Cadini offer breathtaking panoramic views of the Dolomites and attract hikers, photographers, and climbers alike. The area is particularly renowned for the Cadini di Misurina viewpoint, one of the most iconic photo spots in the Alps, where narrow trails wind along steep cliffs overlooking sharp peaks. In every season, the play of light on the rock faces creates a spectacular display, making the Cadini a true gem of alpine scenery.
