About "Calculated Abstract #02"

About the artwork

The title of this Calculated Art is its association with Hebrew scrolls. It is an otherwise abstract image, showing patterns down to the smallest details

This fractal was created with a computation time of 24 minutes and contains an overwhelming amount of detail in the highest resolution (16,000 x 16,000 pixels, 327 MByte).

This image shows up best in high resolution, so you tend to walk towards it to see where the details fade, and then there is a lot to see!

If you are interested in a different color scheme or cropping, this image can be adapted to it. If so, please contact me.

Explanation of fractals: fractals are mathematical phenomena that are created by performing a series of calculations per pixel of an image according to a certain formula. Depending on the outcome of that calculation, that pixel is assigned a certain color. The formula and the color assignment determine the final image.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
