A glimpse of the decayed carriage house of a castle in Belgium.
This abandoned castle was built by a leading lawyer who later served in the army. During the Second World War, the castle was occupied by the Nazis and once was home to one of the most legendary German pilots for a while. After the war, it became a military domain until it closed its doors in the early 90's.
Since a few years I visit and photograph abandoned and decayed buildings in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany. This is also called urbex or urban exploration.
