The Central Bearded Dragon has several adaptations to survive the heat during the day and the cold nights. The Central Bearded Dragon is an omnivore and hunts prey animals, but also eats flowers and other plant parts. It is a heat-loving species that has a great need for light and warmth. Bearded dragons have a fairly elaborate form of visual communication by nodding their heads and waving their legs. Important enemies are several species of snakes and birds of prey.
