Arnhem Central Station is the central railway station of Arnhem and chronologically the fourth in the capital of the province of Gelderland. On 4 October 2012, the platform caps and passerelles of the renovated station won the National Steel Award in the non-residential construction category. In 2015, Arnhem Central Station won The National Concrete Award. In 2016, the station won an international Architizer A+ award in the Bus & Train Station category. In the same year, the station also won the Heuvelink Prize for the best new construction project in Arnhem and The European Concrete Award 2016 in the Building category.
