This is a photo I took in an abandoned monastery. Located in the province of Viterbo in Italy, the monastery shows a very back-to-basics stylistic approach when it comes to its architecture, unlike other monasteries, which have a more opulent style inspired by the Baroque movement.
The origins of the monastery date back to 1463. The structure underwent many changes over the centuries, with extensions and renovations to meet the needs of the residents over time.
