Henri Lebasque (1865-1937) was a French Post-Impressionist painter. Lebasque was known for his lively and colourful paintings, which often depicted scenes of family life, portraits and idyllic landscapes. He was a member of the artist groups Les Nabis and Salon d'Automne. Over the course of his career, Lebasque developed a personal style that combined the influences of Impressionism and Fauvism. His works radiate a harmonious atmosphere and show a preference for depicting happiness in everyday life.
