About ‘Cholatse with horse’ by Gerhard Albicker
Cholatse, also known as Jobo Lhaptshan, is a six-thousander in the Khumbu region of the Himalayas in Nepal. It is connected to Taboche by a long mountain ridge. The Chola Glacier flows down from the eastern flank of the mountain. The name of the mountain derives from its location above Lake Chola.
