All the elements and symbolism fascinate me enormously.
Every stroke, choice of colour and technique reflects the individual expression of the artist, which makes the painting stand out.
All original works are conventionally hand-painted: nothing is digital or printed.
The paintings are built up in many layers of acrylic paint. This layering in combination with the use of flat brushes creates beautiful and characteristic touches, which allows the painting to be viewed and interpreted in different ways. It contributes to the visual richness and complexity of the work.
No black is used in the paintings. Without black, everything is less hard and looks calmer. The acrylic paint dries matt and is therefore more pleasant to the eye, allowing all the details to come into their own.
The colours are specially mixed for each painting and although this is often time-consuming, everything is about the end result.
