About "Christmas star based on Koch Snowflake fractal."

About the artwork

It looks like a flower, but if you look a little further it looks more like something of a star. And yes starting point is a Christmas star, but based on a Koch Snowflake fractal in a coloured-pottery style.

Sometimes you sit behind your screen on an early dark soaking wet evening in late November, reading nothing but misery or the most nonsense on your social media screen, your brain quickly starts thinking of an alternative. So something with a fractal (have many) so, the Christmas tree next to me glitters with its LED lights, and a star comes to mind.

A fractal can in fact create a lot of different atmospheres, it depends on the colour balance and the environment in which the piece will be hung, not to mention what atmosphere the buyer himself adds.

In this work, the cool colour dominates the warmth, and if I link this to the time when this image was created of violence and unrest around the world, it can be a sign to go against it.

Is this the original image as made with Ai-art, it has been edited by me, through colour balance, brightness, sharpness, noise reduction and hdr. in Affinity Photo editing software, which is my darkroom and drawing board.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
