After a charge or attack in the war, the land on the front line between the trenches is completely churned up from the impacts, the craters. In the background some more explosions in the trench warfare.
The battle-ravaged landscape remains desolate with large water-filled craters. In the distance a series of broken trees along the horizon and exploding shells remind us of the proximity of war. This work is a critical response to the senseless destruction of the landscape in war.
