The Passo Sella connects the Valle di Fassa with Val Gardena. It is a meadow-covered ridge that separates the chain of the Sassolungo from that of the Sella. This pass is also one of the most famous in the Dolomites. The magnificent Torri del Sella and the Mesules barrier rule the pass. Unforgettable is the view of the Sassolungo chain which is 3181 metres high. Atop the pass is a small church that contrasts nicely with the mountain range.
