Tips for use

Point your camera at the floor or a piece of furniture first, then move it slowly up towards the wall. A bare white wall is hard for your phone to recognise.
Move your phone gently from side to side. Holding it still or waving it around quickly does not help.
Make sure there is enough light. In a dark room your phone has nothing to lock onto.
The artwork appears at its true size, so you cannot scale it in AR. Want a different size? Close AR and pick the size on the product page.

About ‘Cirrhipathes’ by Enak Cortebeeck

Along the tip of this whip coral (Cirrhipathes), a species of black coral, the dark skeleton is visible beneath the pale exterior.

Its polyps cannot retract fully into the skeleton, leaving them permanently exposed along the branch — a characteristic that has earned these corals the alternative name ‘barbed wire coral’.

Enak Cortebeeck

Antwerpen, Belgium

ENAK CORTEBEECK is an Antwerp-based art director and designer, working in film, television, children’s media, user experience and socio-cultural campaigns. He has worked for clients including the BBC, Warner Bros., the European Union and De Filistijnen.

As well as his work as a designer, Enak is an underwater photographer. In his images, he explores texture, colour and the silent geometry of coral ecosystems.
