About "Citrus and wine"

About the artwork

it work is a luxurious fine-art still life that gives a modern nod to Baroque Dutch painting. It shows a composition of bright yellow lemons, purple grapes and an elegant wine glass, all set against a deep black, mysterious backdrop. The lemons, some cut to reveal their texture and juiciness, lie in a decorative silver basket, flanked by full bunches of grapes.

My inspiration lay in the classical masters, using the technique of chiaroscuro (light-dark contrast) to highlight the texture and brilliance of the fruit and glass. The light captures the curves of the glass and the softness of the grape skin, giving a sensual look.

The atmosphere is one of richness, understated pleasure and timeless elegance. The work is a visual treat reminiscent of a well-set table after sunset. This still life is exceptional in any interior that longs for a classic, atmospheric work of art with deep, saturated colour power.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
