About the artwork

When evening bathes the world in a dusky light, I, the city of dreams, awake in the hour between day and night. My houses rise in a wondrous kaleidoscope of warm colours against a sky that captures the mystery of the approaching winter. My towers reach out towards the darkness as if to fathom the secrets of this sky strewn with moons and stars.

I, this city that shines in the soft colours of a not-quite-real world, seem to have fallen out of time, a place where the stories of the past are still alive. The spheres floating in the sky are like planets from other galaxies or like soap bubbles rising from my fantastic buildings, each a window into another world.

Under my starry sky, where the unusual is commonplace and the marvellous is tangible, I invite the imagination to take a journey. I am a place where time is irrelevant, an eternal evening where my lights never go out and the night is full of stories. Here, in my streets and alleyways, you can feel the past and the future, because I am the city that whispers its stories to you as you wander through my pulsating veins.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
