Lippstadt is a cosy and beautiful city located in western Germany in North Rhine Westphalia, about 150 km from the Dutch border. It is a small town with a lot of history. It was founded before the 12th century, so really old. The centre is located on the south bank of the river Lippe. There are therefore quite a few historical buildings to be found which, in the centre, are mostly white. A white church, the Great St Mary's Church from 1205 and many old half-timbered houses, the oldest of which dates from 1566. The market square is completely lined with old, mostly white, buildings. Of course, the necessary terraces can also be found there, from the various catering establishments. The city's town hall is also a listed building. Even in the shopping street, many old, especially white, buildings can be found. It is a fresh-looking city, which then really looks summery on a sunny day with a blue sky. The colours of this abstract cityscape are therefore fresh, such as cyan, white, orange and some green.
