Coaster passes Flushing beach to sea.
Coaster passes Vlissingen beach on a beautiful summer evening. A lone seagull in the sky above the passing ocean liner. The wooden breakwater and foot of the dike gives a nice frame around the ship.
The sea vapor rising and the sun slowly setting.
Flushing on a sunny day and the passing ships. The pilot boats entering and leaving Flushing harbor. The pilot boats bringing the pilots to the ships like this sea ship.
The loneliness of the sailor the empty sea they face on their way to the next port. The black and white and draws this picture sharper.
Raw and the port as it is the people who work there. The images I see there I like to photograph because it is art in itself. The harbor is another world. The landscape of the harbor is always changing. The ships the people the landscape it continues to fascinate me.
