One of my first ever successful photo manipulations, based on a drawing, now shines in vibrant colours. This unique artwork from 2014 was originally created during a period when I photographed a lot in black and white. The transition to colour adds a new dimension to the image and offers a fresh interpretation of my earlier work.
During the making of this photo manipulation, I was at a phase of my life when black-and-white photography was my preference. This period is characterised by raw, emotional images. Although the original edit was in black and white, some wanted to know how the image would look in colour. Therefore, I decided to keep the veins, which are an important detail in the composition, and give the rest of the image a softer look.
My style has evolved and become milder, but my imagination and creativity remain unchanged. This artwork is a perfect representation of that transition and the development of my artistic vision. The colourful palette brings the image to life and makes it a striking addition to any interior.
This photo manipulation is ideal for art lovers looking for unique and inspiring pieces for their collection. The piece fits perfectly in modern living rooms, creative workspaces and contemporary galleries. With its rich colours and captivating details, this image is guaranteed to attract attention and provide a talking point for visitors.
