I discovered these wonderful, colourful and imaginative old wooden barrels during my autumn photography trip on the island of Sicily in a small coastal town on the east coast of Sicily.
The picture was taken on 27 October 2024 in the late afternoon hours with the NIKON D800 camera (lens: NIKKOR 24.0-70.0 mm f/2.8).
I particularly like the vintage style of these wooden barrels and their reuse for storing things.
This also makes a positive contribution to sustainability.
The nostalgic still life fits in perfectly with the country-house style furnishings.
