The Common Kestrel is widespread in the most of Europe. They are found in all kinds of places, from meadows and forest edges to cities. The animals can often be seen hunting along motorways. The food of the Common Kestrel consists mainly of small mammals and birds, such as pigeons as well as smaller species of birds. Their food also includes insects, such as beetles and mice.
