The container ships still some way off the coast still on the horizon. The large ships full of colorful containers. The North Sea with a blue glow and waves on which the ships sway and pound.
Photographing the ships just off the coast with no buildings. That makes for great photos.
This container ship on its way to the Maasvlakte just biting the harbor. The pilot on the bridge the crew invisible to the eye on their way to their station. Ready for the tugs.
The sun on this side the colors jumping out. All the containers in different colors. And the different shades of blue on the ship from the different paint jobs.
Raw and the port as it is the people who work there. The images I see there I like to photograph because it is art in itself. The harbor is a different world. The landscape of the harbor is always changing. The ships, the people and the landscape continue to fascinate me.
